What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is a procedure that manually exfoliates the outer layer of dead skin cells. This is often used in combination with a chemical peel. The procedure involves using a diamond tipped wand that will gently abrade the skin’s surface. Simultaneously, a vacuum-like device will remove the exfoliated cells. Combining this non-invasive procedure with the chemical peel maximizes the benefits of these treatments. Regular treatments maintain the results and promote youthful healthy skin.
