The DiolazeXL MAX is a non-invasive FDA approved laser hair removal system that uses diode laser technology. It is fast, effective and the most comfortable way to permanently remove unwanted body or facial hair. It works by generating a concentrated beam of light that will penetrate the skin and target the pigment of the hair follicle. The melanin in the hair follicle absorbs the lasers energy and converts it to heat. The heat destroys the follicle and prevents its ability to grow. The damaged follicle eventually stops producing hair altogether. Because of its precision treatment the dialysis concentrates only on the hair follicle and does not affect the surrounding skin. This makes it suitable for very skin types and hair colors.
Advanced Technology for Hair Removal
The technology involved is a dual wavelength system. It uses an Alexandrite and an Nd-YAG laser. This broadens the capabilities for hair removal. It can target a wider range of skin types and treat lighter and finer hair. These are usually harder to treat with traditional laser systems.
This laser system is very effective but it only targets hair during its growth phase. Hair grows in cycles and not all hair follicles will be in a growth phase at the same time. This means that multiple treatments would be necessary to eradicate all hair. Typically several treatments spaced several weeks apart are required to target the different cycles of hair growth. The number of treatments required will vary depending on the skin type, hair density and the treatment area. If any regrowth occurs it tends to be lighter and finer than it was previously.
